EnTire is developing revolutionary self-inflating tire and offering investment opportunity.

(ContentDesk) October 2 2003--Tires commonly leak slowly and "unnoticeably" during their usage. Almost half of the vehicles on the road today have at least one tire under inflated by more then 20%. Although 85 % of drivers are concerned about maintaining proper tire pressure in their tires, only 25% of them use proper methods and 43% of them do not take an active role in maintaining their tire pressure. EnTire is a patented system, which responds to tire pressure related safety and economic issues in a simple and elegant manner ? tire equipped with the EnTire system keep itself properly inflated simply by tire use. Tires with the EnTire inflation system utilize the motion of the tire to maintain small "unnoticeable" leaks while driving.

The EnTire system is also able to eliminate the loss of air pressure caused by small perforations in the tire that may occur while driving and would otherwise cause rapid deflation of the tire. After the vehicle is safely parked, EnTire system...

Choosing the right Tires for your Motorcycles

All the parts of the motorcycle are essential and the tires are one of them. Basically, it is the most contributing factor that makes the motorcycles move. So if it is important, then tires should be given much attention too. There are different types of wheels for different types of motorcycles. It has different sizes and surfaces too.

Some tires have spikes which are used for dirt bike races and other kinds of races. Some tires are smooth which are used in highways and concrete roads.Tires have to be maintained and checked once in a while because its durability depends on how much you use it. New tires are treated differently because it's just like you being given a different task of work to do. You don't get used to it easily so you need to adjust. Tires are like those too.

They have to keep up or warmed in order to function well. New tires have to be used all over again several times. It's important to keep your tires a little wasted to prevent it from sliding.Temperature...

4x4 Truck Tires - For The Big Boys

What do you want to see?
A blur of forest and land slide by as you spin in all directions with mud surrounding your truck as if you've become engulfed in a tornado that's comprised strictly of earth and water, is certainly a compelling option.
And, that's right, it can be an option.
But, there's something else that perhaps, unfortunately, cannot be ignored.
Sometimes you need to get to work.
And unless your office is conveniently located well off the highway, by way of some little known and covered path, well then you may need to consider the handling and driving of your vehicle under multiple conditions.

Its not always glamorous, but the fact is your 4x4 tires are probably going to ride upon reasonably dry, smooth surfaces.

But, that's not to say that you can't be ready for anything.
More practical purposes for having a 4x4, and the 4x4 tires that go with it, are things such as slippery conditions due to snow...

Vehicle Recycling Partnership and USCAR Initiated Tests by Cooper-Standard Show Cost Reduction Potentials Using More than 25 Percent Recycled Content in Automotive Rubber Parts have been Repeated in Europe

Recent tests in Europe duplicated the previous tests conducted by Cooper-Standard Automotive initiated by the Vehicle Recycling Partnership of USCAR (United States Council for Automotive Research). These independent tests reported at the European Tyre Recycling Conference (ETRA) confirmed the consistent production repeatability of the generic CBp Europe technology to recover and upgrade the carbon black and mineral fillers, including silica, from pyrolysed scrap tires and rubber into a competitive reinforcing black filler. Two cost-benefit performance grades of homogenous reinforcing fillers are produced:CBp-067 for economic substitution or blending with N-600 or N-700 series carbon blacks and a less reinforcing filler, CBp-090, with properties similar to N-900 carbon blacks.Carbon black is an important ingredient in nearly all rubber products to improve properties such as tensile, wear resistance and modulus. Scrap tyres and rubber can contain 25% to 35% carbon black. According to the...

Learn How To Properly Check Tire Pressure

Tire pressure is one of the things a car needs to have checked most often. Ideally, you should check them once a month as well as any other time when they might look low. Also, if you are planning a long trip with your car, tire pressure is one of the main things you should check, along with a general checking. The first thing you need in order to be able to check your car's tire pressure is a tire pressure gauge. You can acquire one at any car parts store or just use one in a gas station. All gas stations have one, but you should ask if it is functioning well before using it.

Some of the gauges you might find in gas stations are old or damaged and therefore the information they would give you would be incorrect, which could even lead you to add more air to the tire than it should have. This way, it is important that you make sure the gauge you will use functions properly. In order to be able to evaluate the pressure your tires have, you should learn how much pressure they should...

Popular Toyota Prius Now Runs on Goodyear Tires

North America's largest tire maker was selected to provide its Goodyear Integrity tires for the 2005 Prius.
The tires are designed to offer a smooth ride -- essential to the fuel efficiency targets of the vehicle. The Prius, which qualifies as a "hybrid" vehicle, powered by both an electric motor and a gasoline engine, has an EPA-estimated combined city/highway average rating of 55 miles per gallon. Driving the car at low speeds and by assisting the gas engine during acceleration the battery-powered motor helps save fuel and reduce emissions. No plug-in is required as coasting and decelerating recharge the motor's batteries. The Prius, now has a decent set of tires -- P185/65R15 Goodyear Integrity.

Built to favor fuel economy over luxurious touring or sporty auto crossing, the Goodyear tires roll quietly down the road and generate 0.76 g of sideways stick in the corners and 0.89 g in a straight line under braking. To draw attention to the increasing performance capabilities...
